1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting.
2.1 The Committee received evidence from representatives of Alzheimer's Society.
2.2 Alzheimer’s Society agreed to provide a note with their views on the specific issues relevent to people with mental health issues who develop dementia.
3.1 The Committee received evidence from representatives of Age Cymru and Wales Carers Alliance.
3.2 Age Cymru agreed to provide information on the Robin scheme in Aneurin Bevan Local Health Board.
3.3 Carer’s Alliance Wales agreed to provide information on the Spice scheme in Swansea.
4.1 The Committee received evidence from representatives of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and Royal College of General Practitioners.
5.1 The Committee received evidence from a representative of Public Health Wales.
6.1a The Committee noted the letter from the Chair of the Equality, Local Government and Communities Committee regarding the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales Annual Report for 2015-16.
7.1 The Committee agreed the motion.
8.1 The Committee considered the evidence given by Alzheimer’s Society, Age Cymru, Wales Carers Alliance, the Royal College of Psychiatrists, the Royal College of General Practitioners and Public Health Wales.
9.1 The Committee noted the letter from the Chair of the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee regarding its inquiry 'A stronger voice for Wales: engaging with Westminster'.
9.2 The Committee agreed to respond in writing to the Chair of the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee.
